What separates those who actually make money online with an Internet home business opportunity, from those who think they are going to, and do not? There are a lot of factors involved, but here is the one that I think makes the biggest difference….
-
…the individual himself…or herself. Let me explain my thinking.
Masses and masses of people are drawn to the kind of home business income opportunity that shows tremendous potential for making money online and building passive or residual income over time. And who (except the very most 9-5-job-entrenched) wouldn’t be, when you think about it? It is such an appealing idea that it gets all those desire-glands fired up. (Can’t you just feel it?)
I happened to see a video recently, when I was visiting a particularly good and responsible MLM-review site, about a company in the news (not in a good way I’m afraid) that I came close to signing on with a couple years back. That is an embarrassing confession now, but since I pulled myself back from the brink at the time, and made a choice that was much better for me, I have some distance now to talk about it.
The video showed a leader saying to an audience (and I remember hearing this line at the seminar I attended), “You can make $20,000 a month doing exactly what you are already doing.” Whaaaaaatt? If that were true, there would have been a room full of people already making $20,000/month based on what they were already doing.
The truth is, if you want something you’ve never had before (like $20,000/month, or sleeping late when you want to, or never missing one of your kids’ events), you absolutely need to do something you’ve never done before. Probably a whole regimen of things, including learning new skills, that you’ve never needed before.
I have a few more thoughts about this but don’t want this post to get too long. In Part 2 I’m going to talk about our comfort zones and how they either help us or hinder us in reaching our goals.
Be amazed and amazing,
