There can be hundreds of great reasons to make the move from a traditional job, or even a brick and mortar business, to make a living online from home. My personal favorite is simply this: there is NO PLACE like home.
Think about it. Do you actually wake up and look forward to rushing out the door each day only to spend 8-12 of your prime waking hours on the road or in an impersonal, stressful, non-soothing work environment? (I sure didn’t.) Do you look forward to the weekends and then spend them dreading Monday?
C’mon! These things would be what we call “clues.”
Some years back, there were not a whole lot of options when it came to owning and running a business from home: a daycare center, envelope stuffing, small appliance repair, taking in ironing, maybe some kinds of free lance work for artists and writers…. The point is that MOST of us didn’t really have good options for generating the kind of income it takes to live and also to provide significant lifestyle-freedom, from home. Rather, we had to “go to work.”
Technology and the Internet have changed all that. Because personal computers and high-speed Internet connections are available to virtually anyone, anywhere in the world, business is being conducted online and business owners can now work from the comfort of their own homes. Furthermore, even those who do not already have a business, can start one if they learn how to use the Internet to help educate and equip others who are–and will increasingly be–heading in this direction, to do so successfully. That in itself is a business opportunity.
Whoo-hoo!! Do you get how great this is? It changes everything. Today we have an entirely new option that didn’t even exist a few years ago.
So think about it. Working online from home is a lifestyle choice as much as a vocational choice. The Internet is the only sector of the economy that is not in recession. It is the only sector of the economy that fully belongs to the 21st century and the Information Age in which we are actually living. It is the only sector that fully allows people and families to reclaim a home-centered way of living and working.
It doesn't take much, to create the right space!
Your next career move–your financial and lifestyle future–could be as near as your own computer. (The one right near your coffee pot…your comfy chair…your family…your loyal pet…your favorite view…) Ah, there is NO place like home.
