Thanks for the note. I am so sorry to hear about what you are going through. I was a &quot;GE kid,&quot; so have a deep respect and longstanding affection for electrical engineers. (not to get mushy about it...)

Interestingly--and maybe not coincidentally--a growing number of my entrepreneurial colleagues are engineers by profession, who found themselves drawn to the Internet at a time of job transition.  What they say is that they really like the freedom of working from home. 

If your openness to any and all career opportunities is stretchy enough to include learning about the rapidly growing home-based Internet business movement, I&#039;d be glad to point you toward some resources and additional information.
