Last night I was honored to be one of over 430 entrepreneurs on the webinar, “In The Office With A Top Producer.” This weekly webinar is always hosted by my colleague, Gregg Davison, a leader and top tier producer in Carbon Copy PRO. Gregg interviews and turns the leadership over to any one of many other successful master marketers–regardless of how long or how briefly they may have been in the industry. Last evening’s special guest–Juan– started at the same time that I did–almost to the day. I was both grateful and humbled by the extraordinary success that he has had in fewer than eight months. He hit a steady multiple five-figure month around month four, and is on track for consistently doubling that by the end of January, 2010. Whew. And he does most of his marketing for FREE (no cost lead generation).

Believe me. I was paying attention to everything he shared.

I was also struck by the WAY he shared, WHO he is as a person, and HOW he runs his business. He, IMHO, is a perfect model of integrity, straightforwardness, simplicity (vs. hype, glitz, and glam) and high quality. My own mission as an Internet marketer and educator, is to help raise the bar and increase overall respect within and outside of the industry of Internet Marketing, through consistently honest, high-quality, accessible and value-loaded marketing education. I strive to make the tools of Internet marketing education use-able and accessible by new entrepreneurs, boomers and others going through midlife career change, and those with little prior technical and/or marketing experience. In short, for real people, looking to launch and build successful online businesses from the comfort of their own homes.

Last night’s webinar with Juan made me especially grateful–once again–to be part of the particular online community of entrepreneurs that makes such success possible and real–for anyone willing to work at it and go the distance.

The best part of my own success remains that of helping others to find and achieve the success they desire and envision in their own lives. Juan’s lessons inspired me to reach even higher and farther. A life worth living; meaningful work; and a community of generous and high-caliber colleagues; it doesn’t get much better than this. I am blessed.
